SACAI

The explosion of ready-to-wear at the end of the 70’s made way for innovative Japanese designers rejuvenating the fashion industry.  United by an avant garde vision and solid foundations they were able to expertly mix quintessential fashion with urban streetwear and time honoured sartorial traditions with cutting edge functionality and aesthetics.

Chitose Abe founded Sacai in 1999 and the Japanese fashion house soon became a staple in the highly competitive world of global streetwear.  Indeed, Sacai is now in its twentieth year and Chitose Abe has established a solid reputation with connections to some of the biggest names in the fashion world.

Sacai's vision is resolute and what may seem like manufacturing errors are in fact emphasized to the point of becoming her trademark with garments as simple as they are stunning.
